Preview: The Amazons at Cardiff University Students' Union
Alternative rock band, The Amazons, are scheduled to perform at Cardiff University's Students' Union on Saturday night.
Who are the Amazons?
The Amazons are a four-piece, Alternative rock band from Reading. The band formed in 2014.
Three years later, in 2017, the band released their debut album and they've recently released their second album, ‘Future Dust’, in May this year.
The band made a name for themselves with singles such as ‘Junk Food Forever’ (2015), ‘In My Mind’ (2016) and ‘Black Magic’ (2017).
They were nominated for BBC’s ‘Sound of 2017’, MTV’s ‘brand new for 2017’, and were also included in the Telegraph’s ‘the best albums of the year’.
The four-piece played at Reading festival this year on the BBC Radio One stage and toured the world in 2017 and 2018, performing in the USA, Japan and Korea.
When are they playing?
They are playing at the Cardiff Students' Union at 7pm this Saturday (16th November).
Where else are they playing?
They tour this week from the 15th to the 22nd of November and are playing in Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol, Bournemouth, Norwich and London.
